The Sims 4: Cats and Dogs

I joined EA Maxis as a Game Design Intern during the Summer of 2017. During that time, I worked on two The Sims 4 expansion packs: Cats and Dogs and Seasons.

For Cats and Dogs, I joined the systems design team midway through development and thus primarily worked on systems tuning and iteration for various objects and features. I was able to fully design one feature, the “Bird Flocks” that was added to the game.


Systems tuning and iteration on:

  • Bird Flock
  • Obstacle Course objects (hoops, tubes, platform, etc).
  • Cat Wand
  • Robot Vacuum
  • Walkbys for the new neighborhood: Brindleton Bay.
  • Species Traits
  • Pet Toy Box
