Robo Repair was developed by team Arithmagic over the course of four months at Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center. ArithMagic was a five-person team developing a math-focused educational game for elementary school students at the Intermediate Unit 1 Educational Campus at East Franklin. We worked closely with a class of eleven children, in grades kindergarten through fifth, who required additional academic and emotional support, as well as special education services.

The primary focus of the project was to create an accessible and engaging play experience where students can apply the math concepts taught in class to practical scenarios.
